Growing in Christ: Living a surrendered life

A Christian`s ( Christ follower) life is quite simply! This life you see that we all live is not our own, but the Spirit of God that dwells in each of us! We were bought with a price and sealed with His Holy Spirit. There is no other way to live this life, but to allow Christ to lead......." Living this life for Jesus, every step of the way"!

Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the" SPIRIT of HIS Son into" your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

Galatians 2:20 (MSG)
19-21 What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn’t work. So I quit being a “law man” so that I could be God’s man. Christ’s life showed me how, and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not “mine,” but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that.

Is it not clear to you that to go back to that old rule-keeping, peer-pleasing religion would be an abandonment of everything personal and free in my relationship with God? I refuse to do that, to repudiate God’s grace. If a living relationship with God could come by rule-keeping, then Christ died unnecessarily.

Growing in Christ: Paul debunks the greatest debate!

Gooood morning King Jesus! Goood morning familiy and friend!

Here is my morning scriptural breakfast...

Galatians 5 (NKJV)
5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

The biggest debate of the year, was debunked within this verse. "You must be circumcise to truly be saved!" Paul answer was that we are saved only by the Grace of God. through Faith!

Water Baptism or Not!
Skirt verses pants!
Pork or not!
Make up or Not!

Paul sums all these debates into one lump sum of Freedom. When he says...

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

There is no works you can do to be save, you must receive it by Faith in Christ, Jesus. Enjoy your freedom in Christ!

Growing in Christ: My lips will not curse God, but trust!

Like in the book of Job, each of us have been through some tough trials in our life. From the death of love ones, sickness, miscarriages, loss of jobs, etc...

Job in the bible is seen, teaching us a lesson on how to make it through heartache , depression, pain, and suffering.... Job trust God, no matter what!

Job 1:9-12(NKJV)
9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”

So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Though satan attacked job's children, his possessions, and Job's health. Job understood, one thing! That God is always more then able to restore....

Note this verse...
Job 2:9-139 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”

10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Job had faced, more then any of us could possibly endure in this life time! Some of His children have died, he loss all of what he had, and even his health was taken! However, He shows us how to get through it all. Job said, He trusted God! Hallelujah!!

Job goes on to say...
Job 13:15(NKJV)
15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.

Job knew that His lips would continue to praise God. Though he voiced his displeasure of his circumstances . Job never blamed God.

At the end of the story of Job. God is seen restoring everything that satan had stolen from him.

What are you going through today? What hurts and sorrows have your soul down cast? Give every pain over to Jesus, because he cares for you! Cry out to God, tell Him how you feel! Tell Jesus you need His help, and strength ! You need Him to restore! Christ wants to heal your broken heart and restore your life.

When I went through a tough time in my life! God gave me this verse to hold onto to which reads..

"Isaiah 66:9 (NCV) In the same way I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born,” says the Lord.

God has allowed my life to be restored! Will you trust him to restore yours today?

Heavenly Father, Lord Your word declares that You are ... Psalm 3:3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

Lord, though we may go through many trials in life. I thank You that You never leave us! I thank You that You are right by our side walking us through those rough times; according to Psalms 23. For Your word declares, that You are the Glory and the lifter of our head! You always restore! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Good morning King Jesus! Good morning family and friends! Have a bless day, love Sis Rashida

Growing in Christ: Seeking Jesus

Been up since 4am! First thing that I did this morning, was to roll over in the bed, and grab my breakfast ! The bible .... You see, the bible tells us that," Man can NOT live by bread alone, but by every word the proceeds from the mouth of God"!
(Matthew 4:4)

I must fill myself daily in the word of God! For I am living by faith, daily in the word...

(Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”)

And we ALL know that Faith only comes by Hearing, and hearing the word of God! Amen!

(Romans 10:17
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.)

So as the Sun begins to rise, and baby Jacob has already swung his feet in my face twice.( he is asleep in my bed). Ha hahahaha. I am enjoying my quiet time, getting to know Christ, even more this morning !

As the scriptures say... Psalms 63:

63 O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.

Goooooood morning King Jesus! Goooood morning family and friends !

Growing in Christ: Train them up!

Had a wonderful day at church! It so nice to be out and fellowshipping with other believers...

Church is a delightful opportunity to continue to raise our children in Christ! To come in unity of worship, praise, and prayers!

The bible is so clear when it says...Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it."

Train your children how to live righteously, while they are in "Your Home". Lead your children to seek out who Christ, is for themselves. Teach them about the loving God we serve!

For when they " Leave your Home", they will have been taught very well!

Don't be like Eli, and fail to restrain your children from doing Evil! For faith in the word, without works ( being a parent) is dead !

1 Samuel 3:1313 For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knows, because his sons made themselves vile, and he did not restrain them.

Have a Bless week, Love Sis Rashida:)
